Getting started

The basics: cost, accounts, supported devices and what you can create.

Is PuzzForge free to use?

Yes. You can create and download many printables for free, including PDF, PNG and JPG export. Free exports include a small PuzzForge attribution. Premium removes that attribution and adds SVG export, advanced styling, your own branding, unlimited cloud projects and premium templates.

Do I need an account to create printables?

No account is needed to create and download. Signing up lets you save your projects to the cloud and access them from any device — and it's free.

What can I create with it?

Word searches, crosswords, sudoku, mazes, word scrambles, missing letters, cryptograms, word matches, bingo cards, quizzes, worksheets, flashcards, calendars and certificates.

Does it work on phones and tablets?

Yes. The studio works on modern desktop, tablet and phone browsers. You can create on one device, and signed-in projects can be available from your other devices too.

Download formats, attribution, the Premium trial, billing and commercial-use rules.

In what formats can I download?

Most generators export to print-ready PDF, plus PNG and JPG images — all laid out for US Letter printing. SVG export is available on Premium.

Can I use the printables commercially?

Printables you create from your own inputs may be used commercially, provided you have the rights to the material you use. Free exports include a small PuzzForge attribution, while Premium removes it. PuzzForge templates may have additional usage terms.

Does the Premium trial require a card?

No. The seven-day Premium trial does not require a payment method and does not automatically become a paid subscription. Premium features simply lock again when the trial ends unless you choose to subscribe.

How do I cancel Premium?

Premium subscriptions are billed through PayPal. Cancel the recurring billing agreement from your PayPal account. Deleting your PuzzForge account does not automatically cancel PayPal billing.

Projects, AI & support

Saving work, AI-assisted suggestions, ease of use and getting help.

How does the AI assistant work?

Enter a theme and the AI suggests words, clues or quiz questions to get you started. You stay in full control and can edit everything before exporting. Always review AI suggestions before publishing, selling or distributing the result.

Do I need any design skills?

Not at all. The generators handle layout, spacing and styling for you. You just add your content (or use AI suggestions) and download.

Will my projects be saved?

When you're signed in, your projects are saved to the cloud automatically and available on any device. Guests can store a few projects locally in their browser, but clearing browser data, using restrictive private-browsing settings, or changing devices can remove those local projects.

How do I get help if I'm stuck?
