Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 August 2026. These Terms govern your use of PuzzForge (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

PuzzForge is operated by Hamza Hassni, an individual (sole proprietor) based in Morocco. In these Terms, "we", "us" and "PuzzForge" refer to this operator.

1. Use of the Service

You may use the Service to create, customize and download printable materials. You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, or use it for unlawful purposes.

2. Eligibility and accounts

Accounts and paid subscriptions are intended for adults. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian should create and manage the account for you. Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorized use.

3. Content and ownership

Subject to any rights held by other people in the material you provide, printables you generate from your own inputs are yours to use for personal, classroom and commercial purposes. Free exports include a small PuzzForge attribution line; Premium removes that attribution and adds the extra branding and export features described on the pricing page. Templates and other content supplied by PuzzForge may have separate usage terms, including Premium restrictions. You may not redistribute or resell a PuzzForge template itself unless we expressly permit it.

You retain ownership of the content you provide. You grant PuzzForge a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process and display that content only as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, including saving projects, generating exports, operating share links and carrying out features you request. This licence ends when the relevant content is deleted, subject to ordinary backups, security records and retention required by law.

4. AI-assisted features

Some optional features may use AI to suggest words, clues, questions or other starting material. AI-generated suggestions may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing and editing suggestions before publishing, selling or distributing them. AI-assisted output should not be relied on as legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

5. Free and Premium plans

PuzzForge offers a free plan and a paid plan ("Premium"). Additional plans for schools and teams may be offered on request. The features included in each plan, and their prices, are shown on the pricing page. We may change plan features or pricing. Material pricing changes that affect a future renewal will be communicated in advance where required by applicable law; changes do not affect the price of a billing period you have already paid for.

6. Billing and payments

Paid plans are billed through our third-party payment provider (PayPal). By purchasing a paid plan, you authorize us and our payment provider to charge the applicable fees to your selected payment method. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information. All fees are stated in the currency shown at checkout and are exclusive of any taxes, which may be added where required by law.

7. Subscription renewals and cancellation

If your plan is offered as a recurring subscription (for example, monthly or yearly), it will automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. Subscriptions are managed by PayPal, so cancellation must be completed in your PayPal account. When you cancel, you keep Premium access until the end of the current paid period, after which your account returns to the free plan. Deleting your PuzzForge account does not cancel a PayPal billing agreement. We do not store your full payment card details; these are handled by our payment provider.

8. Refunds

Because our products are digital and delivered instantly, payments are generally non-refundable once a plan is active, except where a refund is required by applicable law (for example, certain statutory withdrawal rights for consumers in the European Union). If you were charged in error, experienced a technical problem that prevented you from using the Service, or believe you are entitled to a refund, contact us within 14 days of the charge via our contact page and we will review your request in good faith. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

9. Free trials and promotions

We may occasionally offer free trials, discounts or promotional codes. The current seven-day Premium trial is started manually from your account, does not require a payment method and does not automatically convert into a paid subscription. When it ends, Premium features lock again unless you separately choose to subscribe. Any future promotion with different terms will state those terms clearly before you start it. Promotions are limited-time, have no cash value and may be subject to one-use or eligibility limits.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload or create content that is illegal, infringing, harmful, hateful or offensive, or that violates the rights of others. We may remove content or suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address serious or repeated violations of these Terms, fraud, abuse, security risks or legal requirements.

11. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability.

12. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide notice where required by applicable law. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, except where the law requires another form of consent.
