Put an asterisk at the end of it: Paris*. The asterisk is removed from the printed sheet.
Two things catch people out. Negatives ("which is NOT…") test careless reading rather than knowledge. And an answer that is noticeably longer than the others gives itself away — experienced test-takers pick the long one on instinct.
A crossword. The solver has to produce the word rather than recognise it among four. Save the quiz for facts and comprehension.
